Most fabrics have a story. Very few control it.
Merinow begins at the fibre level, sourcing Australian Merino selected for specific micron ranges and staple lengths. Fibre selection is not aesthetic. It determines yarn strength, resilience, and how the cloth will age.
From scouring and combing to spinning and weaving, each stage influences the next. Alter yarn twist and you change drape. Adjust finishing and you change breathability. When stages are disconnected, consistency becomes impossible.
This is the advantage of fibre-to-fabric manufacturing. Design intent is preserved because production is not fragmented.
A finished fabric at Merinow is not assembled. It is grown, stage by stage, with measurable accountability at every meter.
